What's planned?

Smoothey Park is part of Gore Cove, the border between Lane Cove and North Sydney Councils. The are several interesting vegetation communities at this location, including Sandstone Gallery Rainforest, Blackbutt Gully Forest and Angophora Foreshore forest. Help the Smoothey Park Bushcare Group to maintain this small but healthy bushland remnant. You can travel by train, alight at Wollstonecraft Train Station and walk for 5 minutes through the park to meet the volunteers at the utilities shed. Volunteers under the age of 18 yrs must be accompanied by a guardian.

What to bring

Please wear enclosed shoes, a long sleeved shirt, long pants and a hat. Bring your own bottle of drinking water. Morning tea will be provided. Volunteers under the age of 18 yrs must be accompanied by a guardian.
