This site is noted for its birdlife and is a 4 ha mosaic of Eucalypt, Melaleuca, rainforest and native reed/grassland habitats. What is also unique is this 4ha was once an industrial site left over from the Council's flood mitigation works in the late 1980s. ALSO The Museum of Brisbane "Navigating Norman Creek" producer will be giving a short talk there that day at 2pm.
