Where and when should you meet?

Meet at bench seating & table in park adjacent to Norman Creek bridge. The meeting spot is also adjacent to a small car park and "take away' Cafe diagonally opposite the junction of Main Avenue with Deshon Street, Woollongabba (UBD Map 180G1).

What's planned?

Come along and meet some wonderful people caring for one of the closest bushcare site to the Brisbane's CBD. This site is noted for its birdlife and is a 4 ha mosaic of Eucalypt, Melaleuca, rainforest and native reed/grassland habitats. What is also unique is this 4ha was once an industrial site left over from the Council's flood mitigation works in the late 1980s. ALSO The Museum of Brisbane "Navigating Norman Creek" producer will be giving a short talk there that day at 2pm.

What to bring

Please wear sensible work clothes, hat, sunscreen and shoes and bring a water bottle.

Children under 12 are welcome with supervision.
Dogs are allowed on a leash.
