The walk will be led by Murdoch Branch Wildflower Society walking botanical encyclopaedia Eddy Wajon! It will be 3 hours long and we will keep to the north side of the railway line looking at the rare orchid specimens (Grand Spider Orchid, Caladenia huegelii) saved from degradation by urban sprawl and Roe Highway Stage 7 construction, as well as numerous other fantastic wildflowers. Eddy is also a very charismatic tour guide so be ready for some extra adventures. He will also have local wildflower books and calendars for sale.
