What's planned?

Join us for a walk in the unique Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park! Aldinga Scrub contains the last major remnant of native coastal scrub in the greater Adelaide region. On this springtime walk, you will see a range of plant communities with many of our beautiful plants, including orchids, in flower. You will be guided by members of our Friends group who have a wealth of knowledge about the flora and fauna in our Park.

What to bring

You are asked to wear shoes which are suitable for walking on our fragile sandy soils.
You will need to bring hats, sunscreen and water if required. There are no facilities in Aldinga Scrub.
Children are welcome but the tracks are not suitable for strollers or bikes.

This site is:

  • Family friendly
  • Suitable for young people aged 12-18
  • Suitable for children under 12
  • Easily accessible
